I’m not sure if I got this right, a Bailout is a government loan to which the business must repay the money. A Stimulus on the other hand gives the money away and requires the tax payer to repay it?

I am planning to open a small business in Ontario soon and I was advised by friends to take a government loan. I am not familiar with this at all. You seem them everywhere, buying up motels, hotels, conviencnce stores, everything, and I hear they get some sort of low interest government loan to buy all this stuff?

How can they get their hands on soo much money, at one time.

I overheard a while back where a group of these guys got a loan of over 25 million and bought all the stuff in 2 small towns,
its was like 4 convienence stores, a pizza place, and lord knows what else.
